Area debate

DURING the State of the Area Debate, I asked if it would be feasible to open the Barrage road across the bay, for a set period in the morning, say from 7am to 9am. Then again in the evening from 4pm to 6pm, for light traffic only and going only one way - eg to Cardiff in the morning and from Cardiff in the evening. This would relieve the congestion at Baron s Court roundabout and also cut the pollution by petrol fumes on Windsor Road. I was informed the Barrage road was not built for traffic. What I would like to know is could it be looked into, as an alternative route to and from Cardiff for light traffic?  more...
